Country Dancing In Kalamazoo

Come enjoy our inflation-busting, donation-based dance admission. 

$5 to $20 - pay what you can

 

Sunday, April 6 - Just for Fun  2 - 5 pm  It's a workshop and a party! New dancers are welcomed. Learn style and skill in a relaxed atmosphere. Bring dances to call and dance to, figures to work on... Contra, English, swing, squares - all are up for the bidding.

 

Saturday, April 12 - Contra and Squares 7:30 - 10:30 pm  Free skills workshop at 7pm. Tunes by Askin' For Trouble and calls by the Home Team.

Wednesday, April 16 - English Country Dance 7:30 - 9:30 pm.  Wonderful English dances from Elizabethan to Jane Austen to Modern. Thorn Among the Roses returns to play live music and the English callers team will lead the dances.

​NO CONTRA ON APRIL 26 - Join us at the Trillium Twirl Dance Weekend https://www.michigandanceheritage.org/trilliumtwirl  

 

Wear comfortable clothing and smooth dance soles - and please bring water to drink.

Bringing a snack to share at break is always welcomed!

All dances are held at the Oshtemo Grange, 3234 North 3rd Street (corner of 3rd St and H Ave.) Kalamazoo, MI. Park in the Grange lot, or the church across the street.
